Superferry officials are  rushing to launch the interisland ferry service today instead of Tuesday, as previosuly scheduled, while opponents are crying foul. After a Hawaii Supreme Court ruling Thursday, Maui Circuit Judge Joseph Cardoza filed an order of summary judgment Friday, requiring state transportation officials to prepare an environmental assessment for the Superferry facilities at Kahului Harbor.  Read more …
