It’s time.
On-street parking was quaint in Pa’ia. Some people remember when the traffic was slow enough there was no light at Baldwin Ave. and a dog often slept in the intersection - and this was not so long ago. But now, one person backs up from a space and 20 commuters wait three minutes. Create another parking lot and ban on-street parking.
And as long as we’re banning things, how about banning jaywalkers – they hold up traffic as much as anything. Residents do it, but tourists much more – just dart out from parked cars and hold things up while they cross. Use the light, morons.
