HAWAIIAN WORD OF THE DAY — Ho’Kolohe: ComicalMarch 28th, 1937: The US Army announces that there will be massive war games surrounding the Hawaiian islands. More than 100 ships and nearly 40,000 men will take part in a faux invasion of Hawaii, and the defensive actions taken to repel it. “Enemy forces” land in Paia Bay two months later but are met with brave defenders of the realm.
