Makawao Parade - 4th of July
TODAY – The 43rd Annual Paniolo Parade, starts at 8:45 a.m. at the Veterans Cemetery in Makawao, goes up Baldwin Avenue and turns onto Makawao Avenue, ending at Eddie Tam Gym. The 53rd Annual Makawao Rodeo starts at 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Oskie Rice Arena in Olinda.

Parking and a shuttle are available at Oskie Rice Arena and Eddie Tam Memorial Center. Spectators parking at the arena will be shuttled to Makawao Town from 7 to 8:45 a.m. After the parade, the shuttles will run from the Eddie Tam Memorial Center and Makawao town to the Oskie Rice Arena until noon.

I honestly believe that no one with any intelligence can dispute the fact that Barack Obama is a better person than John McCain for the Big Job. McCain is a political whore of old, choking on lobbyists, blowing in the wind, swimming whichever direction the currents of conservative monies take him. McCain wouldn’t know a rigid principle if it hit him on his infected, bulbous head.

This makes Obama’s whoring out all the more painful.
