Cowards for God & Country
July 18, 2008 10:45 pm Raphael O'Suna Cowards for God & CountryPeople are conditioned and propagandized to love their country and God from earliest childhood.
Rather than a wise practice, it is a method of social control. God and country are used symbolically to emotionalize one’s attachment to the objectives of a higher class. God, country, the flag, religion, patriotism, and all the other abstractions, symbols and pretenses, are created for no other reason than to rob you of your freedom and to either limit or emotionalize your thought.
These are all symbols of control. They have fear of ostracism, of exile, of not belonging at their base. The furious rejection of other abstractions, gods and symbols is the usual outcome of a process, which suspends one’s mental faculties and captures one’s soul.
The need to belong, and the insidiousness of fear allow those in power to play the same tricks on each generation. Anyone who thinks independently or enjoys a state of isolated unity falls under attack. Once a person has joined the herd–has been thoroughly conditioned and propagandized–he becomes outraged at the one who has maintained his integrity and independence. Fools demand company. They want no reminder of their cowardice.
Run away as fast as you can from those who want to trade exclusive and abstract principles for your very real and concrete freedom and independence of thought. Usually the loudest voices in this regard are merely pretending that the good of all or many will result.
