Paper currency is not wealth. Debt is not wealth. Even hard assets, which often need to be converted into currency, may not be wealth.

Water is wealth. Clean, abundant drinking water. Clean air is wealth. Air that is free of smoke, vog and extreme temperatures. Balanced and uncontaminated topsoil is wealth. Food grown on such soil is wealth. A clean ocean is wealth and uncontaminated and abundant fish. Health is wealth.
