YESTERDAY: Cheeky, sneaky Wayne Nishiki charges bias by Ethics Chairman. Maui County Council member Wayne Nishiki, elected in November only because he violated financial disclosure requirements, filed an affidavit seeking to have Ethics Board chairman Alan Kaufman removed for bias! The Ethics Board meets again Wednesday to resume consideration of Nishiki’s successful efforts to hide his finances from Maui voters prior to the election. More >
