Blogging One’s Own Death

I want to leave the earth at sunset, when stillness touches color, and movement hides in shadows. I want to be staring out to sea, where low clouds are lit and colored brightly. Or maybe walking through a redwood forest. Oh, it would be great to be standing against a giant Sequoia, next to a river, as rain poured down in a musical downpour. I could go out singing.
To be with someone you love, at the time of death would probably bring joy to a disturbed heart.
I don’t want to die suddenly, or violently. I don’t want to die anguished or in agony. I don’t want terror to be frozen on my face, because fear and terror were never part of my life.
