In Mystery Wrapt

Many things are very deep, unfathomable, intricate, contingent, confusing, labyrinthine. They do not reward concentrated thought.

Infinity and eternity are concepts of this nature. The “Origins of Origins,” is another. The nature of the human mind is very mysterious. As is the nature of consciousness or soul. Can one determine what the lowering of a woman’s eyes means? What is light? Reincarnation is another maze of questions.

Only a few men can productively contemplate the great mysteries, without harm coming to them. Even fewer can enter into them and doing so become mysteries to others.

Women are a mystery to men and vice versa. It is possible that if each knew what was pervasively on the mind of the other, they would try harder to avoid each other. The entire question regarding sexual attraction and sexuality, is a mystery not to be solved by mankind. Sexual energy has its source and basis too far from mundane life on earth to be either revealed or understood.

The heart is a great mystery. Exploration of its realms does bring rewards, transformations and occult knowledge.

Language is a great mystery as is speech. These things did not evolve. Language is a legacy from an unknown source. Without language, one might imagine images, but couldn’t think thoughts. And without thought and thinking, one would not be able to speak.

Some things cannot be accounted for by evolution. One can always say God is the source of something, but that is simply a name given to a mystery. If there was a God-Being, He would be so far removed from this plane as to be completely incomprehensible.

Can you imagine such a Being caring about how much you gave to your church? Do you think that such a Being would care about political parties? Do you think he would look favorably on the destruction of the planet? I think he would have special Avenging Angels for the destroyers of this planet.

Do you think God spoke to bearded ascetics in some desert outpost?

Many say that hints to great mysteries can be found in the stars. In the heart and its correspondent organs and centers. In love, sacrifice and wisdom. Perhaps in the lowering of a woman’s eyes.
