HAWAIIAN WORD OF THE DAY — Pama: Palm Tree; Poho: Palm of handTODAY: Moku’ula, once a one-acre island in Lahaina with series of taro patches, fish ponds, royal homes, mausoleums and canals, was a sacred sanctuary to the Piilani chiefs between the 14th and 19th centuries.
