  Non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of Hawaii’s native wildlife through research, education and conservation.
• Save Kahului Harbor
  Dedicated to long-range, sensible planning for Maui’s ocean transportation needs.
• Surfrider Foundation
  Working to bring life to its mission of preserving beach access, preserving near shore water quality, and protecting recreational and cultural sites through CARE: Conservation, Activism, Research and Education.
• Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary
  Dedicated to promoting comprehensive and coordinated management, research, education and long-term monitoring for the endangered humpback whale and its habitat.
• International Marine Mammal Project
  This division of Earth Island Institute has joined many other organizations as a sponsor of ECO, a non-governmental organization that monitors the International Whaling Commission.
• Ocean Mammal Institute
  Collects data on the impact of human marine activities on whales and dolphins. The research results are then used to develop guidelines to protect these marine mammals.
• Kahea - The Hawaii Environmental Alliance
  A network of activists throughout the five main Hawaiian Islands that address critical issues within our communities and ‘ahupua’a.
• Manta Pacific Research Foundation
  Studies manta rays in their natural habitat, conducts scientific research, provide education programs for the public and to establish and promote worldwide manta ray conservation.
• Polynesian Voyaging Society
